That is why all of our branches can now offer Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) as part of your Eye Examination.
The OCT takes a 3D cross sectional scan of your central retina, known as your Macula. This allows your optometrist to look at the layers of your retina, to see the underlying structures, helping us to detect and monitor a number of eye health issues, in particular macular degeneration or glaucoma.
The OCT is part of our most comprehensive examination we can offer you which we call the Advanced GOLD Examination, which will allow us detect and monitor your eye health in the most effective way.
