Eye Test

I received the same wonderful eye test that I always do at Eyesite, albeit by a different optician from my usual one who was off sick. After my test I mentioned to the technician that my glasses were slipping slightly and leaving an angry mark on my nose and she not only adjusted them but changed the nose pads for new ones, at no charge. Very good service. Your staff are always very friendly and professional. I always recommend you to friends.

Eye Test

Fortunately the optician was able to prove that my eyes have not deteriorated too much which was good news. He showed me on the screens what little deterioration there is. I have been using Eyesite for some years now and would never feel the need to go anywhere else. The service has always been polite, interested, efficient, helpful and quick. Very efficient young man who knew his stuff and was pleasant and interesting to talk to.

Vision and Eye Health

Aaron Spellman examined my eyes and diagnosed choroidal melanoma in the right eye. He managed to make an appointment at Southampton Eye Unit for that afternoon to take the treatment further. Having to tell someone you think they have cancer must be a horrible thing to do, I felt Mr Spellman handled it incredibly well. He was factual, not at all alarmist, managing to convey he felt it was serious without making me want to panic. I remain very impressed with his professionalism. I spoke to him after my examination at SEU and conveyed my thanks and gratitude that he knew what he was looking at. This is someone you need to keep! The staff are always friendly, always try to meet your needs and are knowledgeable about the products and services on offer. I look forward to maintaining my relationship with you for a long time to come.

My optician diagnosed a problem that required YAG correction and arranged to have the laser surgery performed at a local clinic. I have now had the procedure and the improvement of vision was immediate so I was delighted!
