Book An Eyesite Appointment

In order to give you flexibility and freedom in your eye exam, our Eyesite practices offer a range of comprehensive eye exams.

  • Advanced GOLD Eye Examination – This examination is recommended by our specialists to all patients over the age of 19. It provides the most thorough analysis possible for optimising eye health and vision, to provide you with as much detail as possible concerning your eyes. It includes basic eye tests and prescriptions, but extends further to involve our specialised Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) 3D scan and an Optomap Retinal Scan. Using our Fundus Camera, we also take a high quality digital image of the central retina to allow for clarity and a full examination of the front and back of your eye.
  • Advanced Eye Examination – Our Advanced Eye Examination provides an in-depth vision test and prescription, as well as a basic eye health examination. Like in our GOLD examination, we use our Optomap Retinal Scan to take a wide-angle photograph of the back of your eye. This assesses your eye health thoroughly and, combined with an image taken using our Fundus Camera, can be used as comparison images for future eye exams.
  • Extended Eye Exam – This examination covers standard eye health, using a vision test and prescription service. Additionally, we also use our Fundus Camera to take a digital image of your eye for a closer examination and for use in future eye exams.

For an eye examination, you could spend between 40 minutes and one hour with one of our specialist optometrists who will guide you through your visit. At the end of your appointment, your optometrist will talk you through all your potential options regarding your visual needs and any next steps.
